Stop in at any of our Country Stores on Saturday, May 13th for our Garden Party and enjoy special events and shop for Mother’s Day! Our Country Store in Mount Vernon will feature special activities for the kids with coloring activities and a children’s planting station. We’ll also have the Growing Veterans in to educate our customers on their great outreach program as well as Skagit Animals In Need and Northwest Equine Stewardship Center. These organizations support our communities in a variety of ways and we’re excited to have them be part of our event. Our fundraising efforts will focus on NWESC Equine Mental Health Learning Program which “promotes a mutually beneficial relationship between humans and horses, resulting in healing and wholeness for all involved. NWESC helps horses and people heal from emotional and physical trauma.” While all of our stores have special events happening on May 13th, these specials are specific to our store in Mount Vernon.
Skagit Farmers Supply is an 80 year old cooperative based in Burlington, Washington. Our mission focuses on promoting agriculture and supporting the communities we live and do business in.
