Skagit Farmers Supply

The Skagit Farmers Supply Board of Directors and management takes special pride in being able to support our communities with our charitable donations. It is part of our cooperative values and a strong part of our culture. Our mission is to support agriculture and that has led us to support youth in 4H and FFA. We support our youth at county fairs and livestock shows and offer a program through our Country Stores to help lessen the cost of raising animals for their agricultural projects. We have helped our local schools with their student garden programs and with educational materials on agriculture for their classrooms. Youth scholarships are available for those that are considering careers in agriculture. We’re proud to support our communities in many other ways as well: donations to local food banks and fire relief and support of humane societies and pet adoptions to name a few.

Skagit Farmers Supply makes one donation per group per calendar year. If you are part of a larger organization, please coordinate your requests accordingly. We do not donate to non-agricultural related political causes or any cause that is contrary to our company values. Requests should be sent to our office instead of our stores so we can respond in a timely manner and please allow up to 30 business days for approval of all donation requests.

Scholarship Program

At Skagit Farmers Supply, we value education. We understand the important contribution that individuals with an education in agriculture or an agricultural-related field, make to our area. To ensure a healthy agricultural community we work to encourage young people, our future leaders, to pursue their higher education in this important area. It is through this philosophy that our scholarship program is fostered.

The application is due April 1 of every year, and the scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we have extended our 2020 Scholarship Application deadline to June 1, 2020.
