Skagit Farmers Supply

New Country Store Announced – Oroville, Washington

We’re pleased to announce the upcoming opening of our 13th Country Store! Our growth continues as we are excited to be moving into the town of Oroville, Washington. While this is a new market for Skagit Farmers Supply, we are moving into a business with a long and strong history behind it. For those of you who have visited Oroville, you should be familiar with Princes Market; a popular destination for those working the many orchards & vineyards in the area as well as the tourists and campers that visit the Okanogan Highlands and Osoyoos Lake. Jim Prince and his brother took the business over from their father and built a 61,000 sq. ft. shopping center at the north end of town in 1978; it still carries their family name to this day.   Our 13th Country Store location will occupy 36,500 sq. ft. and will continue our relationship with ACE Hardware at this location.

Oroville is a town of 1600 people and takes its name from the Spanish word for gold. The town is on the Canadian border and that proximity and the appeal of the Okanogan brings many Canadians into the area during the spring and summer months. In addition to the ACE Hardware, we will feature our core categories in pet, feed, clothing and lawn & garden.  This location will be serviced by our AFCO Distribution Department and will allow us to market our own Skagit Farmers Supply manufactured fertilizers and our proprietary AFCO milled AF & LMF branded feeds. Our projected opening date is January of 2017.
